Jeremy Heslup is a filmmaker and director based in Culver City, California.
A University of Cincinnati CCM alum, Jeremy spent the post-college years with a focus on the electronic music wave, providing the entire production for tour-documentaries, music videos and promotional spots for the likes of Calvin Harris, Avicii, Tiesto and more.
He then began directing commercial spots for both broadcast and digital. Airing thousands of times on ESPN and the History Channel, the authentic Wahl Clippers, Real Guys, Real Grooming featured real-life firefighters and vintage motorcycle builders. He also directed three Land Rover digital campaigns, including a challenging brief of capturing a naturally occurring phenomena, The Shadow of the Bear, against the backdrop of the fall colors in North Carolina.
Jeremy also launched a self-funded, mini-doc channel called Praemio, featuring inspiring stories of Risk & Reward. Today with 30-episodes shot in 4K all over the world with nearly 2M views, it’s a testament with what can be done with a unique story and nothing more than a backpack of basic camera equipment.
He’s directed films in 10+ countries, with client work in Hong Kong, Costa Rica, South Africa throughout Europe and here at home in the US. This included another Land Rover Back to School campaign at the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina, a half dozen automotive spots for the charitable sweepstakes agency, Omaze, including a production at the Lamborghini factory in Bologna, Italy for Pope’s very own Huracan which was signed and raffled off later that year, as well as four mini-documentaries for Lance Armstrong’s athletically-oriented adventure brand, Wedu.
Jeremy has spent the last year building and developing a custom pursuit BMW M5, as well as directing the motion part of a Puma Campaign shot in Lisbon, Portugal.
